Nvidia revealed in a Wednesday SEC filing that two direct customers accounted for 39% of its July-quarter revenue, according to CNBC. Customer A represented 23% of total revenue and Customer B 16%, up from 14% and 11% a year earlier. Nvidia said cloud service providers made up about half of its data center sales, which represented 88% of total revenue. The chip giant's latest customer disclosure has reignited debate over whether a small number of major cloud providers is fueling its rapid growth. Nvidia said large cloud service providers contributed about half of its data center revenue, which accounted for 88% of total revenue in the second quarter. The company also cautioned that heavy reliance on a limited number of customers could continue.Nvidia told investors on Wednesday that AI demand is broadening beyond cloud giants, with sovereign governments, enterprises, and “neoclouds” contributing to growth. Huang projected $3 trillion to $4 trillion in AI infrastructure by the end of the decade. He said Nvidia could capture as much as 70% of the cost of a $50 billion AI-focused data center.
